I am a fresh aspiring QA Engineer, backed by a certification from a 6-month QA bootcamp at TripleTen. Since completing my training, I have worked on a couple of short contract jobs and internships, as well as constantly learning through personal projects in my free time. I am curious, driven, and find testing to be incredibly interesting. Lately, I have been diving into learning JavaScript and Playwright, while also trying to keep up with AI advancements.

About Me

Hello World!
I'm a retired firefighter transitioning into a career as a QA Engineer. After completing the TripleTen QA Engineering Bootcamp, I gained valuable experience through internships at Supernova MGU and Everykey Security Company, along with a freelance project for Testlio and Uber.
My journey has been diverse on the outside, ranging from managing beer systems as a "Beer Technician Manager," where I learned to optimize processes, to wildland firefighting, which tested my mental agility in high-pressure situations. As a social media manager, I streamlined workflows and created automation solutions. Despite the varied roles, my mindset has remained consistent: I thrive on troubleshooting and solving problems effectively.
My interest in technology began in middle school when I took an elective to write HTML, discovering an aptitude for tech. Long before I knew about QA as a career, I was frustrated by buggy apps and often found developers' emails to send informal bug reports, not realizing it was a structured process in QA. Now, it feels rewarding to get paid for something I used to do as a hobby.
I believe QA is often overlooked, but bug-free, user-approved software is the backbone of any great product. Now, I'm focused on enhancing my skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and the Playwright framework. I am eager to make a meaningful impact in a full-time software testing role. My career path has shown me that every experience has led me to QA, where I can challenge myself and make a real difference.
